Dad Jokes World started as a simple collection of jokes—the sort you tell at the dinner table, slip into a lunchbox or save for a painfully well-timed reply.

We organize the collection by subject, remove duplicates, fix broken wording and mark jokes that may not be right for younger readers. Community submissions are reviewed before they appear.

Our small editorial rulebook

• The setup and punchline should make sense.
• A familiar joke can stay; a broken or needlessly mean one cannot.
• Kid-safe means suitable for a typical family audience—not merely free of explicit words.
• Categories should help someone find a useful joke, not exist only for search engines.

Most jokes travel by word of mouth and have no known original author. If you believe a credited work has been included incorrectly, please contact us so we can review it.
